Aldbrough Gas Storage Facility, East Yorkshire, England
This project was to utilise large, underground caverns and use them as a natural storage for gas. Abeko Server I along with a Hitachi Z850H was responsible for dredging a channel and assisting in the installation of pipes used to extract brine water lying in the caverns.
Land based plant was also used in the construction of a cofferdam for the installation of the pipeline. Abeko Server I showed its versatility and capabilities on this project by delivering crucial equipment to site when access by road was restricted.
