Scroby Sands Offshore Wind Farm, Norfolk, England
This project was an offshore wind farm consisting of 33 turbines to supply Great Yarmouth with energy efficient power.
Abeko's responsibilities were to retrieve and stockpile 45,000 tonnes of rock delivered from Norway on baulkers and reload the material onto side stone dumping vessels to an intense schedule. The rock was then positioned at the foot of the turbines to protect from scouring.
